Assessment Information
Currently, the district is required to administer assessments to students in Grades 3-8 and for certain high school courses. Below is a list of the assessments for each grade level or course.

*The issuance of 2024 A–F ratings under the final 2024 rule is pending and subject to change based on judicial rulings or decisions from the 89th Legislature during a special called session.
In 2022, Highland Park ISD received a rating of A on the A-F state accountability system. The High School campus earned a rating of A. Both the Middle School and Elementary earned a rating of B. The district is accredited by the Texas Education Agency as required by Texas Education Code (TEC), Chapter 39, Public School System Accountability.
