Superintendent’s Message

Welcome to Highland Park Independent School District!  Our school is located in northeast Amarillo, TX near the Rick Husband International Airport.  We serve students from eastern Amarillo as well as those living in rural, eastern Potter County.  The school district consists of three campuses; Elementary School (Pre-K through 5), Middle School (6 through 8), and High School (9 through 12).  Current enrollment in grades Pre-K through 12 is 915. 

We are very proud of our diverse student population and the cultural diversity that our students experience.  Our belief is that our students are our greatest asset.  Our students are high performers.  We have a dedicated staff that works to ensure the success of every child.  Each campus is focused on establishing a safe environment where students are engaged in learning and experience academic growth.  Highland Park is a great place for kids!
